Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining shop and equipment. Evaluate and complete equipment repairs. Perform pick up and delivery of equipment and parts to and from outside vendors and other Cresco locations for purchase and/or repair. Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels. Maintain and make Rental Ready a variety of construction equipment and tools to ensure their safe operation and customer readiness for rental or purchase. Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries. Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Previous mechanic service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas and diesel machinery is required. We seek highly motivated mechanics with experience in construction and industrial equipment. You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.Īs a Mechanic you would be responsible for maintaining the equipment we rent. We are in search of skilled Equipment Mechanics that have the ability to function well as part of a team. Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes. Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day. Ability to sit for at least 4 hours per day. Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day. Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs. Knowledge of winch operations, hazmat transport and placarding preferred. Knowledge of GVW’s, state regulations regarding height and weight maximums. Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or any Cresco ManagerĮducation, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations. Follow all Cresco Operational Procedures and QC Standards. Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order. Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage and fuel levels for billing purposes. 
Load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.

Ensure accuracy of rental contract information prior to dispatching driver.Maintain customer relations via phone and fax, and making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location.Coordinate transportation demands for equipment needs on a normal and emergency basis.
